Glen Victor Adams

A memorial service for Glen Victor Adams, 88, long-time Wagoner resident will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 23 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Carl Murphy officiating.
Glen was born December 5, 1920 in Protem, Missouri to his parents, Marvin Earl and Eslie Ellen (Dotson) Adams. At an early age, his family moved to Osage County, Oklahoma where he grew up and graduated high school. Glen enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served his country in the Asiatic/Pacific theatre during World War II. In 1959, Glen moved to Wagoner and opened Glen’s Restaurant which he continued to operate until his death. He also served his community as a member of the Masonic Lodge #185 of Catoosa the Consistory of Guthrie, the Muskogee Bedouin Shrine, the Elks Lodge and the United Methodist Church. Surrounded by his family, Glen passed away Wednesday, November 18 at his home in Wagoner.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara Irene (Thomas) Adams; his brother, Noel Adams and his sister, Helen Likens. He is survived by his sons, Mike Adams of Oklahoma City, Steve Adams of Homer Glen, Illinois, Norman Adams and his wife, Louise and Marvin Adams and his wife, Velma, all of Wagoner; a daughter-in-law, Donna Adams of Meramec, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Easterling, Warren Brinker, Randy Griffith, George Danson and John Russell Jr. Memorials may be made to the Shriners’ Childrens’ Hospitals
