Obituary

Alfred Ray Morrell was born on December 30, 1942, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William Ray Morrell and Flossie (Fanning) Morrell.  He attended and graduated from Berryhill High School in 1962.  Alfred married the love of his life Muriel Anne Jacobson on August 28, 1982, and they were happily married for 42 years.

Alfred was an avid outdoorsman.  He had a passion for fishing and hunting which enriched opportunities for outdoor adventures.  Traveling in the RV with Muriel was another favorite activity that Alfred enjoyed, allowing him to explore diverse locations and experience the freedom of the open road. Alfred engaged in carpentry work; he was very skillful in building. Carpentry, not only served as a productive pastime but also allowed for creative expression. He found joy in immersing himself in the excitement of football and basketball games, often cheering for his favorite teams and analyzing the plays from the comfort of his home.

Alfred was quite the family man; family was significant to him.  He cherished time spent with family and loved ones.  The family recalls Alfred hosting and participating with many fish fry's.  A social aspect to his fishing endeavors as well as the fellowship among other fisherman was something that Alfred really enjoyed.
