Obituary

Alice Annette French was born December 20, 1950 in Wagoner, Oklahoma to John Meyer Jr. and Betty Lou (Cobb) Meyer Center. Annette was a lifelong Wagoner resident. After graduation from Wagoner High School she attended Northeastern State University. She was the office manager at the Port of Dunkin before retirement. Annette enjoyed life in the rural setting of her home and loved being outdoors, particularly caring for cattle and attending cattle auctions. She enjoyed collecting antiques of all kinds and was very knowledgeable about the history behind her collections. The buying and selling of cars was a hobby she dearly loved. Annette departed this life on Monday, May 11, 2015 at home with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, John Meyer, Jr.; an aunt, Nettie Henson; and her parents-in-law, T.C. and Helen French. She is survived by her husband, David French; her son, John French; her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Leandros Fugate; her mother, Betty Center; her sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Floyd Rhodes; her paternal uncle and aunt, Carl and Corrine Meyer; her paternal aunt, Alice Parrish; her maternal aunt, Isabelle Allen; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dan and Beth Ann French and Clark and Hannah French; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, other relatives and numerous friends. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2015 at Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner. The Reverends Dan and Beth Ann French will officiate.
