Mildred Ann Fairchild was born July 10, 1945 in San Francisco, California, the oldest of eleven children born to John Russell Berry and Mildred Geraldine (Blackwell) Berry Gooding. She and her parents moved to this area while she was an infant, and he attended school in VanBuren and Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Ann moved to Wagoner in her 30's. She was married to Lonnie Fairchild in September, 1970. She was employed at Prestolite for more than twenty years.

Ann loved spending time with her family, especially the time she was with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for family and playing bingo with her family and friends.

Ann departed this life early Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Wagoner Care Center, at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 16 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brother, Jewel Clifton Berry and Cletus Thell Berry; two granddaughters, Angie Bobo and Robin Fairchild; her mother-in-law, Louise Mannon; brother-in-law, Dwight Cole; and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Overman.

She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Fairchild; two sons, Bobby Fairchild and Steven Fairchild; one daughter, Teresa Fairchild Sloan; eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; four brothers, John "Eddie" Berry, Reece Berry, Chester Berry and Loyd Berry; four sisters, Norma Pyland, Patricia Cole, Velma Smith and Linda Deckard; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

The family and friends will gather Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory for a Visitation.

The Funeral Service will be at 1 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Mallett Chapel. Officiating will be the Reverend Adam Bourne and the Reverend Bobby Jenkins.

Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner. Pallbearers will be Justin Battenfield, Derek Berry, Mike Cole, Jacob Marshall Deckard, Cody Fairchild, Colton Fairchild, and Randy Fairchild.
