Funeral services for Anna M. Lee, 88, long-time resident of Wagoner will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner with the Reverend Mark Pointer officiating. Anna was born Feb. 11, 1923 in Health, Arkansas to her parents, William and Blanche (Greer) Tillary. At an early age her family moved to eastern Oklahoma and settled in Wagoner where she attended school. On Dec. 31, 1940 Anna was united in marriage to Roy R. Lee, a union lasting 55 years until his death. She worked for many years as the bookkeeper for their petroleum wholesale business. They enjoyed traveling, annually to Colorado and other trips, including Israel. Anna was devoted member of the First Baptist Church, enjoying the fellowship of her Sunday School Class. She was known as a wonderful homemaker and cook, and her greatest joy came from her grandchildren. Anna passed this life Thursday, Oct. 13 in Claremore. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Lee; six of her siblings and her grandson, Ran Hicks. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Peters and her husband, Kenneth, Wanda Hicks and her husband, Ken, and Doris Rosenthal and her husband, Albert, all of Wagoner; a brother, Billie Tillary of California; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers for Anna will be Billy Jackson, Rod Ferguson, Ronald Nicholas, Shane Rosenthal, Cory Nichols and Jentrey Smith. A visitation will be held at Mallett Funeral Home, Sunday, Oct. 16 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements and interment in Pioneer Cemetery, in Wagoner are directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
