IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Barbara Ruth
Hill
October 15, 1928 – January 11, 2022
Barbara Ruth (Rogers) Hill, daughter of William D. And Ruth Rogers was born on October 15, 1928 in Tahlequah, OK. She departed this world on January 11, 2022 to be with the Lord at the age of 93.
Barbara attended school in Hulbert and graduated from Wagoner High School in 1946. After high school, Barbara attended Northeastern State College where she graduated with a degree in Business Education. Barbara taught business and accounting at Okay High School before joining the family's business, Rogers Wholesale Plumbing and Electric Supply.
Barbara married Robert Kay Hill on December 28, 1947. They celebrated their 74th anniversary this last December. They worked side by side at Rogers for 44 years before retirement in 1994.
Barbara and Bob were very involved in not only their community for the last 74 years but also their church, Crossroads Community Church. Barbara loved the Lord and enjoyed serving Him and others.
Barbara is survived by her husband Robert K. (Bob) Hill.
Their daughter, Kay Chastain and her husband, Tim of Allen, Texas.

Bob and Barbara were partners for life. No one could imagine one without the other so it was gracious of the Lord to allow them to go to Heaven within days of each other. Bob was a gentleman and as always, ladies first, allowed his bride to enter first as he followed her on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
A joint celebration of life will be held for Bob and Barbara at 1:30 pm on January 29, 2022 at Crossroads Community Church in Wagoner presided by Pastor Gary Woodson. The service will also be live-streamed on Crossroads Community Church Facebook page for those who can't attend.
A reception will be held after the service at the church.
The family would like to thank all those who have helped care for the Hill's particularly Prairie House Assisted Living in Broken Arrow, Jamie and Lovie with Mayes Home Health and our sweet Tammy who is an angel on earth.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Community Crossroads Church in their memory or any charity of your choice.
