Barbara Elaine Hooper was born May 2, 1963 in Wagoner, Oklahoma to Clarence and Lucille Smith. She departed this life Friday, April 3, 2020 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK at the age of 56 years.

Barbara was employed as a cashier at Harps Store in Fort Gibson, OK. Barbara was a hard worker. In her spare time she liked to grow things, especially flowers.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Smith and a son, Jeremy Hooper.

She is survived by her son, Jesse Hooper of Fort Gibson, OK; her mother, Lucille Smith of Okay, OK; a sister, Andrea Smith of Noble, OK; a brother, Eddie Smith of Talihina, OK; other extended family and friends.

There will not be a public service. With her family present, Barbara will be laid to rest in Three Rivers Cemetery in Okay, OK.

Arrangements are by Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner, OK.
