Barbara Jean (Rogers) Young, 86, departed this life on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Ascension St, John in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born on December 28, 1939, to Lacy Lee Rogers and Eva Marie (Brummett) Rogers in Hulbert, Oklahoma.

Family will greet friends at a Visitation that will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 5-7 pm in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, to celebrate the life of Barbara Young at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Hulbert Community Cemetery in Hulbert, Oklahoma.  Those serving as casket bearers include Matt Meredith, Mitch Meredith, Jacob Ellis, Denver Matheson, Riley Light, Jarrett Meredith, Cade Cummings, and Larry Ray Rogers.  Those serving as honorary casket bearers include Tommy Young, Sonny Lawson, David Lawson, John Edmonds, Rick Waits, Gary Cooper, Gary James Cooper, Jerry Craig, and Rick Cooper.
