Obituary

Barney Dale Hawkins began his journey on this earth July 12, 1952 and it ended on October 8, 2015. He has now moved on to start a new journey with of his Lord and Savior in heaven. He loved the farm and became an entrepreneur in finding ways to make it lucrative raising cows, bees, quail, whitetail deer, dogs and guiding hunts. He enjoyed going out to play with his buddies hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities. He always had a new project in the works and the next one in his thoughts. He wanted to publicly thank all his buddies who pitched in during his final months and know that "You Are The Best!!" Terry, Calvin and Victor were always there when he called as well as so many others. Bart, he loved you too like a brother. Henry, he wanted you to know that he cherished his long time friendship with you. David P. he truly loved you and appreciated those years of working for you. Budo he loved and admired you and he felt so blessed to be included in all those Sunday's with your family. He was so honored to receive the Spring Valley Fire Department volunteer of the year 2015 award which was hand delivered by our good friend Grant and he wanted to thank all of you. He is survived by his wife Wendy, mother Carol Turner and her husband Galen Turner and father Barney Hawkins, brother Kevin Turner and his wife Dalley, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Pauline and Dave Lenox, nieces Melissa Lenox and Dylan Turner and nephew Drew Turner and so many other relatives and friends.
