Barry Jay Moore was born July 24, 1964 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to J. J. Moore and Helen (Conatzer) Moore.

He was a member of the Latter Day Saints and was well known as a good man and the best husband.  He worked as a welder and retired from roofing construction.  He enjoyed fishing and going to the creek.

He departed this life Friday, August 27, 2021, in his home in Chouteau, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, j. J. Moore and Helen Remington; his son, Michael Gerald Moore and grandson, Nathyn Gerald Lee Moore.

Barry Jay Moore departed this life Friday evening, August 27, 2021 at his home in Chouteau, OK.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Moore of the home in Chouteau; his first wife, Patty Price of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; four children, Kayla Anglin and husband, Justin, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Todd Lewallen of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Danielle Charboneau of Chouteau and Corey Ward of Catoosa, Oklahoma; sister, Sheri Meierdierks of Inola, Oklahoma; brother, Tracy Moore of Tulsa, Oklahoma; several grandchildren and extended family and friends.

Viewing will be from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 31, 2021 with the family present for visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mallett Funeral Home.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel with Virgil Mobley officiating.  Burial will follow at Fisher Cemetery.
