Beatrice Helen (Wisdom) Jones was born December 5, 1920 in Ozark, Arkansas to Rudie and Clara Mae (Willingham) Wisdom. She graduated from Porter High School. Helen married Jack Conn Jones on May 16, 1941. He preceded her in death. Helen was the Porter Postmistress for the U.S. Postal Service for 26 years. She was an accomplished seamstress and artist and combined her two talents in the making of porcelain dolls.

Helen departed this life Friday morning, October 5, 2018 in Broken Arrow, OK at the age of 97 years and 10 months. Survivors include three daughters and their husbands, Ginger and Jim McPeters of Broken Arrow, OK, June and J.Y. Childress of Wagoner, OK and Connie and David Martin of Haskell, OK; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren; other extended family and friends.

Viewing will continue until 7:00 pm Monday at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner. The Visitation is 2:00-4:00 pm Monday.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Porter. The Reverend Micah Wisdom will officiate.

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Porter. Pallbearers will be Michael Childress, Wade Childress, Eric Jones, Kyle Jones, Chris McPeters and Doug Dolina. Honorary Pallbearers will be Coy Martin and Dusty Martin.
