Funeral services for Betty Jean Granger, 77, long-time Wagoner resident will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, Oct. 26 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Leon Schneider officiating. Interment will be in Bennett Addition of Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner. Betty was born December 4, 1931 in Yonkers, Oklahoma near Wagoner. She was a homemaker and enjoyed walking, attending auctions and going to garage sales. Betty's greatest enjoyment came from time that she spent with her family and friends. She passed away Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009 at the Solara Hospital in Muskogee. Betty was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Davis; two sons, Wallace Berry Culwell and Billy Joe Culwell; a daughter, Carolyn Sue Vance; a sister, Edith McAllister, a brother and an infant daughter. She is survived by her children, Zella Mae Appleton of Wagoner, JoAnn Dean and her husband, Ricky of Frederick, Oklahoma, Essie Mae Eiffert and her husband, Jerry of Washington, Brenda Louise Welch and her husband, Wes, Sharon Linda Moore and her husband, Larry and Jimmy Ray Granger and his wife, Kimberly all of Wagoner; 28 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Florence Lewis of Pryor; a brother Sherman Davis of Shawnee; a number of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
