Beverly Ann Manard was born November 4, 1941 in Bunch, Oklahoma, to Clifford Vernon and Edna Rosetta (Latty) Vanderpool. Before retirement Ann worked as a medical secretary both for many physicians' offices and in hospital settings. In her spare time Ann enjoyed quilting and crochet. She made her home in Wagoner since 1987. She and her husband, Bill, loved to travel, and did so frequently. Ann recently travelled with her sister, Sharon and brother-in-law, Tom Barrett on a three month trip across the country, visiting family and gathering genealogy information. Ann was the organizer and keeper of the family information and history. She will be greatly missed by all.
She departed this life Sunday, February 7, 2016, at her home in Wagoner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Manard, in 2013; by her parents; a son, Michael Eugene Take; three sisters, Pauline Root, Maxine Burke, and Jane Kennedy; and by one brother, Clifford Vanderpool Jr.
She is survived by three children: Clifford J. Take, and his wife, Barbara, and their two children, Kimber King and Christopher Take; Beverly J. Spriggs and her husband, Gary, and their three children, Elizabeth O'Connell, Bobby Spriggs, and Joe Spriggs; and Jerry D. Take; one sister, Sharon Barrett, and her husband, Tom; three step-children, Kim Manard-Henkelman, Debbie Sickels and her husband, Wayne and Rick Manard; eight step-grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
The Funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Oldham Memorial Baptist Church, 3605 Tahlequah Street, Muskogee, OK. The Reverend Glen Little will officiate. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner. Pallbearers will be Christopher Take, Casey Henkelman, Ryan Henkelman, Chris King, Coulter Manard, Cody Royse, Clayton Guthrie, and Trey Vanderpool. Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner is in charge of arrangements.
With respect to Mrs. Manard's personal wishes, there will be no viewing.
