Billy "Bill" L. Gravitt was born August 18, 1937 in Wagoner, OK, the youngest of twelve children of John B. and Zola (Sanford) Gravitt. Bill graduated from Wagoner High School and then joined the National Guard. For many years he owned and operate Bill's Body Shop in Wagoner, OK.

As a lifelong Wagoner resident, Bill was well known by many. He loved to cook and regularly shared his cooking with friends and family alike. He was a champion at broom twisting and couldn't be beaten. Anyone who knew Bill remembers what a jokester he was.

He was a long time Rotarian and a 32 ^nd degree Mason.

Bill departed this life Friday morning, May 14, 2021 at the Wagoner Health and Rehabilitation facility in Wagoner, OK at the age 83 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; all his siblings and just recently his son-in-law, Donald Cole.

He is survived by two daughters, Chandra Cole of Porter, OK and her daughter, Taylor Russell of Wagoner, OK, and Cindy Gravitt and her children, Chelsea Gilmore and Jordon Ferrell, all of Oklahoma City, OK; numerous nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.
