Obituary

Bill Kilpatrick, "Papaw", lifelong resident of Porter, was born October 1, 1941, and passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.  He is once again reunited with the love of his life, Linda and precious daughter, Susan.  Bill is survived by his son, Darren and his wife, Susannah; grandchildren, Susie, Darian and Parker; special daughter-in-law and friend, Jana and his siblings, Gilberta Walker, Troy Kilpatrick, Cona May Tackett and Edith Miller.

Bill spent 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, had a 37 year career as lockmaster for the U.S. Corps of Engineers and was a beloved deacon at Timothy Baptist Church in Muskogee. To know Bill was to love him! He was an amazing husband, father and friend. Bill and Linda never missed anything the grandchildren were involved in and were called "Memaw & Papaw" by many.  Bill loved OU football, fishing and Nascar racing.  When Bill was 50, he and Darren began team roping together and won many awards, but more importantly made memories that will never be forgotten.

The family would like to specially thank JoLynn Pierce for her loving care.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, November 3 at 2 p.m. at Timothy Baptist Church in Muskogee.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Roy Cole, Steve Staner, J.W. Acree, Doug Roberts, Robert Hightower, Dexter Payne, Darrell Cantwell and Curtis Hughey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Timothy Baptist Building Fund, 5530 W. Okmulgee, Muskogee, OK 74401.
