Graveside funeral services for Billy D. Cairns, 68, were held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008 in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner with the REv. Carl Murphy officiating. Billy was born March 12, 1940 in Guthrie, OK to his parents, Robert F. and Josephine E. (West) Cairns. After his school, Billy served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked for many years as an industrial carpenter. He passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2008 at his former near Fort Gibson Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 31 years, Mary Lou Cairns; an infant son and an infant great-grandson. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda J. Cairns of Chouteau; two sons, Dennis Cairns of Tulsa and David Cairns of Guthrie; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sue White of Leon KS; tow step-brothers, William Badley of Lubbock, TX and Bruce BAdley of Arkansas City, KS; two half-brothers, Gerald Badley of Blackwell, OK and Jan Badley of Winfield, KS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives; other relatives and friends.
