Bill McLemore's Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Porter Civic Center.

Billy Joe McLemore was born February 14, 1947 in Addington, Oklahoma to Roy McLemore and Anna Mae (Wheeler) Pyles. He graduated from Porter High School and later served in the Army National Guard.

Before retirement Bill worked as a machinist. He made his home in Porter all his life and loved living on the farm that has been in his family for generations. He enjoyed taking care of his animals and riding his mules.

Bill departed this life Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at his home at the age of 75 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy McLemore; his mother, Anna Mae Pyles; a brother, Sam McLemore and s sister, Mary Ann (McLemore) Kill.

Survivors include his son, Mitchell McLemore and his fiancé, Linda Foster, of Muskogee, OK; two brothers, Charles McLemore and his wife, Beverly, of Muskogee, OK and Dee Jay McLemore of Porter, OK; a sister, Sheila Buster, of Porter, OK; his niece, Amy Kinyon of Porter, OK; great-nephew, Charles Green III; great-niece, Anna Green; many other nieces and nephews, all who love and will miss him, and his friends.
