Billy J. "Fuzz" Vanbrunt was born August 3, 1939 near Wagoner, Oklahoma to Joe and Vao (Austin) Vanbrunt. He attended Wagoner schools before settling in to a career driving a cement truck in Tulsa, OK. Ill health presented a setback for Bill early on, but he enjoyed life in Wagoner his entire life. He loved to drive his old truck around town, and his favorite pastime was fishing. For a time he was employed by the City of Wagoner and drove the mosquito sprayer during the warm seasons.

Bill departed this life January 12, 2016 at his home at Yorkshire Village in Wagoner, OK. His parents preceded him in death. Left with many wonderful memories of Billy are his loving sister, Patsy Carroll of Broken Arrow; a nephew and his wife, Scotty and Sarah Williams of Broken Arrow; and his best friend, Doug Rowe of Wagoner; and many other friends who will miss him.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 14, 2016 in the Bennett Addition of Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner. The Reverend Bruce VonWald will officiate. Arrangements are by Mallett Funeral Home.
