Bobby Ray Hoffman was born July 18, 1944 in McAlester, OK to Elbert E. Hoffman and Roberta E. (Rice) Hoffman. He graduated from Wagoner High School and attended college, earning a Bachelor's degree. Bobby served in the Air Force Reserve for 6 years.

He made his home in Bethany, OK for 40 years before returning to Wagoner to make his home. Before retirement Bobby worked for Frito Lay as a transportation driver. In his later years he drove for the Wagoner transport service.

Bobby, his brother Earl and his cousin Terry always got together to play golf on holidays and family visits. His friends and family will always remember how his would give you the shirt off his back.

Bobby departed this life Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the age of 77 years. Preceding him in death were his parents, Elbert and Roberta Hoffman, his wife, Wynda Celeste Hoffman, brother, Earl Hoffman, and stepson, Joseph Daughtery.

Survivors include his son, Christopher Niceley of Modesto, California; daughter, Mary Ann Garvin of Modesto, California; stepsons, Richard Eugene Wright of Yukon, Oklahoma, James Earl Wright of Yukon, Oklahoma and Christopher Daughtery of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jessica Garner of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and James Earlie Wright of Yukon, Oklahoma; nine great-grandchildren; his good friends, Coy and Gladys Rowe of Chouteau, Oklahoma; numerous cousins, extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Monday, November 15, 2021 in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner. The Reverend Terry Presley will officiate.

Viewing will be Sunday from 1 - 5 pm at Mallett Funeral Home.
