Bonni Lin (Bartlett) Bunting passed away surrounded by her family on the evening of July 2nd, 2026. Preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Pat Bartlett and her husband Ray Bunting. Bonni is survived by her son Peter McLane (Jennifer), their 5 children Kristi Powers (Tony), Brendan McLane, John McLane (Katie), Covie McLane, and Ella McLane. Her daughter Patricia Wells (Earl), their 4 children Sarah Daniels, Sean Daniels, Laurie Wells, and Emilie Wells. 3 great grandchildren, Jude, Claire, and CeCe as well as siblings Mike Bartlett (Carolyn), Gary Bartlett (Andrea), Susan West (David), and Wendy Beller (Jim).

Bonni was born February 26th, 1945, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Raised in midtown Tulsa she grew up learning and living the value of service to others. She was a devoted mother, a girl scout troop leader, a homeroom mom, and one of the original “soccer moms”. She was always one of the first people to volunteer and lead by example when a job needed done. Later in life she became involved in genealogy where through her membership in the 3 Forks Genealogy Library she enjoyed searching through the pages of history to help others discover their roots.

Bonni loved her family fiercely and if she loved you, you were part of her family. She did not get caught up in the materialistic side of life choosing instead to cultivate a collection of friends and family that stayed devoted to her, visiting, and supporting her throughout her final days. She was always available to listen and advise no matter what the topic at hand was.

Bonni will be remembered for her love of the holidays, especially her dozens of pumpkins in the fall, her many Christmas trees, beautifully wrapped presents, and her impressive Christmas village that she was delighted to keep up throughout the year and light up with the wave of her wand.

Her needlework skills were turned into treasures through making banners for the Presbyterian Church in Wagoner, spreading warmth with her crocheted blankets and creating warm memories with her cross-stitched creations and ornaments that she worked on year-round to give as Christmas gifts.

As a homemaker she made remarkable recipes that quickly became family traditions such as her annual chili dinners, her loaves of pumpkin bread that was made by the dozens and savored by so many, as well as her peanut brittle that was often fought over at Christmas time. Her devotion to service and to family built a family that is strong, with indelible memories that will continue to love as she taught us to.

Funeral Mass for Bonni will be 10:00am, Tuesday, July 7th at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wagoner, Oklahoma, internment to follow at Ft Gibson National Cemetery
