Obituary

Funeral services for Bonnie LaVonne (Yochum) Hayes, 75 of Porter wil be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner. Bonnie was born Sept. 30, 1934 in Wagoner to her parents, Clarence Shorty' Yochum and Beulah Ellen (Meeks) Yochum. A graduate of Okay High School, she attended college before working at the Baptist Hospital in Muskogee in the X-Ray Department. Bonnie began working at the Tradewinds Motel at the front desk and progressed to the assistant manager's position which she held for several years until her retirement. Bonnie passed away Thursday, June 17, 2020 at Solara Hospital in Muskogee. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Neal Yates Hayes and by a beloved nephew Daniel Yochum. She is survived by her companion, Jack Cluff of the home; two brothers, Charles Yochum and his wife, Pat of Gilmer, TX and Leon Yochum and his wife, Mary of Muskogee; several nieces and nephews, Dennis Ray and Lisa Yochum, Bobby and Joan Yochum, Cheryl and Dick Holloway, Laura and Ed Jeffers, Cathey and Phillip Wilburn, Brent and Terri Yochum and David and Laura Yochum; many great-nieces and great- nephews; her aunt, Faye Clary and her husband, Robert; her uncle, Edward Meeks and his wife, Rose; two of her cousins who gave loving care, Charity Moravec and Mitzi Bowser; other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers for Mrs. Hayes will be David Yochum, David Ott, Richard Moravek, Dick Holloway, Phillip Wilburn and Edgar Jeffers.
