Heaven gained another angel Thursday morning. Brenda Kay Baker, 66 years old of Warner, OK passed away and went to her heavenly home Thursday morning on Oct, 26th. Brenda had a heart of gold. She was a daughter, sister, wife, but most remember her as Granny. She grew up and went to school in Warner, where she met her husband Bob Baker. They were married 49 years; it would be 50 on April 19th, 2024. Brenda had a way of making you feel at home when you come to visit. Children held a special place in her heart. She loved watching them play in the yard, but most of all she loved watching them play sports. I bet she is up in heaven coaching a little league team right now. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother Dorthy Hazel Ogden Kingston, her step-father George Kingston, and her father Jesse James Gilbreth. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Robert Lewis Baker Sr., her children Robert Lewis Baker Jr., Teresa Gail & Brian Mathis, William Andrew Baker. Her Grandchildren Autumn Nicole Baker, Kinzy Breann & Bradley Verel, Katlin Rachell Mathis, Austin Cheyenne Baker, Karolyn Elizabeth Grace Baker, Zachary Cole Mathis, Emry Elain Baker, Jencen McKade Baker. Great Grandchild Aubree Noelle Dempsy. Her siblings Cathy Ann Neese, James Dale Gilbreth Sr, Paul Wayne Gilbreth, and many more nieces and nephews. She had four amazing lifelong friends that became family: Mark Bullard, Jimbo Sallee, Bo Mullins, and Natalie Medlin. Brenda is being cared for by Mallett Funeral Home & Crematory in Wagoner.

Her viewing for friends will be Sunday Oct. 29th from 2-5pm. Pastor Josh McElyea will be officiating her service Monday Oct. 30th at 10 am at the Warner Memorial Cemetery. The family would like to thank everyone for the flowers and condolences along with a thanks to Mallett Funeral Home for taking such great care of Brenda.

Pallbearers will be Robby Baker, Austin Baker, Andrew Baker, Kevin Gilbreth, Jimbo Sallee, Mark Bullard, and Zachary Mathis.
