Brenda Arlene (Spriggs) Cobb was born on December 9, 1948 to William Newt Brewer and Mary Arlene (Powell) Brewer in San Francisco, CA. Brenda's family later moved to Memphis, TN and eventually made their way back to Wagoner. Upon Brenda's father being killed in a truck accident in 1959, her mother later married Roy Leo Spriggs in 1962 who adopted Brenda and younger brother, Gary.
Brenda completed her high school education graduating with the WHS Class of 1966.
Brenda married James "Pug" Cobb on January 2, 1966. Through this union they had 2 children, James A Cobb, Jr and Debbie Lynn (Cobb) Watts.
Brenda was a partner committed fully to Pug as an asset to the family's farm equipment and trailer sales operation and a dedicated home maker. She could often be seen driving a tractor loading equipment for a customer. She not only was a great cook, but kept the home spotless on the inside.
Her favorite hobbies were reading books, cross stitching, sewing, crossword puzzles, just to name a few.
Pug said Brenda was the best wife on the face of the earth. They enjoyed 60 years of marriage together. When Pug was asked what was the key to staying married for 60 years, he replied, "Brenda was willing to tolerate me!"
Brenda was the most kind, gentle, meek, patient, and unselfish person you would ever meet. She never wanted to violate a law or rule. She was truly a God fearing lady.
