Obituary

Carline Yates was born September 28, 1925 in Loy, Arkansas to Ted and Maggie Jewel (Whorton) Bolinger. She graduated from Locust Grove High School. Carline married Vernon Yates on December 22, 1944. They lived a long, happy life together for fifty-one years. Before retirement Carline was the Payroll Clerk for Wagoner Public Schools. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church and the National Rural Letter Carriers Auxiliary. Carline enjoyed being active in the P.E.O. and Study Club of Wagoner for many years. A favorite activity was meeting and playing with her Bridge Club. Carline's sweet and kind disposition and her dedication to her family will always be remembered by family and friends alike. Carline departed this life Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at her home in Wagoner, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, on February 7, 1996, both of her parents, and two brothers-in-law, Cecil Ince and Cotton Duncan. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Rande Humphries of the home; her grandson, Nick Humphries and his wife, Kristie, and her great-grandchildren, Abby and Kael Humphries, all of Wagoner; one brother, T. D. Bolinger and his wife, Mary, of Plano, TX; six sisters, Evylene Ince of Houston, TX, Syble Atherton and her husband, Paul, of Tulsa, OK, Barbara Giles of Broken Arrow, OK, Shirley Wheaton and her husband, Ronnie, of Tulsa, OK, Peggy Duncan of Broken Arrow, OK and Beverly Hammock and her husband, Don, of Broken Arrow, OK; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. The family would like to say a special thank you to Tia Roberson, Tina Wood, and Tawnya Miller for taking such good care of our mother and Ninnie. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner. The Funeral Service will be at 9:30 A.M. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Wagoner. The Reverend Mark Pointer and Mr. Scott Grimm will officiate. Pallbearers will be Randy Atherton, Terry Bolinger, Tim Bolinger, Rick Duncan, Don Wes Yates, and Jon Ed Yates. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Hill, Roger Hayes, Joe Etheridge, Jim Gladden, and Don Yates. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner.
