Carolyn Frances Ramsey (Orr), 77, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Born on July 10, 1948, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Glen and Elizabeth Orr, Carolyn lived a full life marked by dedication, adventure, and deep love for her family, animals, and the beauty of the outdoors. Carolyn grew up in Okmulgee, where she graduated from high school and later attended Okmulgee Tech. She built a meaningful career as a Certified EKG Technician, serving in healthcare for over 30 years until her well-deserved retirement. Her steady hands and caring heart brought comfort to countless patients during her long tenure in the field.

In her personal life, Carolyn found great joy in exploring the world with her belovedhusband, Dennis R. Ramsey. Together, they embraced the freedom of RV travel,creating cherished memories together. An avid gardener, she nurtured vibrant gardensthat reflected her patient and nurturing spirit. Carolyn was also a devoted animal lover,always ready with kindness for furry friends. Over the years, she delighted in squaredancing, ballroom dancing, and water skiing—activities that showcased her livelyenergy, grace, and love of movement and music.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Dennis R. Ramsey.She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Cox and her partner Peter Seay of OklahomaCity, OK; her brother, Robert Orr and his wife Dana of Allen, Texas; her grandson, KyeCooper and his girlfriend Presley Turner of Claremore, OK; as well as one niece, onenephew, and other extended family members who were dear to her heart.

A celebration of life to honor Carolyn's vibrant spirit will be held at a later date, with details to be shared by the family in due time. In the meantime, friends and loved ones are invited to share memories, photos, or stories on her online tribute page.

Carolyn's warmth, adventurous heart, and unwavering love for those around her will bedeeply missed, but her legacy of joy and care lives on in everyone she touched.
