The Memorial service to celebrate the life of Cedric Lee Harper will be at 10:00 am Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the New Beginnings Church, 1106 Southwest 6th Street, Wagoner, OK. The Reverend Terry Presley will officiate.

Cedric Lee Harper was born August 4, 1974 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His mother, Teresa (Ruston) Lemons, died when Cedric was young, and in 1985 he moved to Wagoner to be raised by his grandmother, Lela Henley.

Cedric is remembered by his family as a very hard worker until declining health prevented his employment. They recall what a great cook his was. For many years he was the cook behind the good barbecue at Grade and Etta's Smokehouse on Cherokee Street. Other jobs include repairing boat docks at the lake and working at Gary's Tires. He loved God and was an avid gamer.

Cedric departed this life Monday, August 12, 2019 at his home in Wagoner, OK at the age of 45 years. His mother, Teresa Lemons and his grandmother, Lela Henley both precede him in death.

His family and friends will miss him dearly. They include his children, Lecrisha Dawn, Carlton Cane, Teri Lee and Lily; three grandchildren; three sisters, Nola, Cherryetta and Jaynene; several nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
