Charles Ray Davis was born October 17, 1950 in the state of Washington to Doyle and Nora Davis. He moved to Wagoner with his family at an early age and graduated from Wagoner High School. Charles was a member of the Church of God in Wagoner. He enjoyed fishing, but most enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially the children and grandchildren. He liked cats and always had one or more as pets. He enjoyed Sonic cheeseburgers as his favorite food.

Charles departed this life Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Wagoner Community Hospital.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Nora Davis; a half-brother, Billy Davis; and two sisters, Dorothy Rankins and Velma West.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Marie Davis; two sons, Wilbur Van Horn and Timothy Van Horn II; two daughters, Amanda Lou Van Horn-Hurst and her husband, Larry and Natalie Lynette Van Horn; nine grandchildren, including Cheyenne Hurst and Christian Hurst; two great-granddaughters; numerous other relatives and friends, especially his best friend for life, Buzz Kinyon.

Cremations arrangements are by Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at twelve o'clock at Church of God in Wagoner, Oklahoma.
