Charles Albert Murray was born on December 12, 1963, to Roy Murray Sr. and Jessie Dean (Whittington) Murray in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  He attended Wagoner Public Schools and grew up in Wagoner, Oklahoma.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Charles was a caring and generous man with a passion for fishing, particularly catfish, and he enjoyed helping others by mowing lawns.  His love for riding motorcycles and playful nature, especially teasing Christina, reflected his lively spirit.  Above all, his devotion to his family underscored his kind-hearted personality.

Charles departed this life on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at his home in Wagoner, Oklahoma, at the age of 61.  Preceding him in death are his parents, Roy and Jessie Murray; his siblings, Roy Edward Murray, Eva Rae Murray, Ellis Leon Murray, Mitchell Dewayne Murray, Bobby Joe Murray, and Tommy Lee Murray.

Those left to cherish the many fond memories of Charles' life include his beloved wife, Christina Murray of the home; his children, Lance Curtis Murray of Claremore, Oklahoma, Steven Eugene Murray of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Bruce Lee Murray of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren; his siblings, Linda Anderson and husband, Lawrence Williams of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Billy Ray Murray of Canadian, Oklahoma, Shirley Thayer and husband, Buddy of Wagoner, Oklahoma, and Roy Murray Jr, of Wagoner, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, and extended family who will greatly miss him.

Charles' warm and caring spirit left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered, and his memory will continue to inspire and comfort his family and friends as they cherish the moments they shared with him.

There will be a memorial service celebrating Charles' life held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 401 NE 2nd St., Wagoner, OK.
