Charles Henry Tefft, 60, a resident of Wagoner, Oklahoma, departed this life Friday, July 29, 2022 joining his mother, Cora Ruth Tefft and brother, Denny Tefft. On Saturday morning Charles's wife, Theresa Jo Tefft accompanied him in the Walk of Honor Ceremony afforded to deceased veterans as they leave the Jack C. Montgomery Veterans Hospital.

Charles was born January 11, 1962 in Norwich, New York to Marcene and Cora Tefft. He was raised in New York, later serving in the United States Army for ten years where he was a nuclear weapons specialist. Following his military service Charles was employed as a carpenter.

He will be remembered as a very intelligent and detail minded man. His time in the Army contributed to his fondness for organization. To everyone he knew, Charles was kind, nice and patient. He will be greatly missed.

As Charles requested, he will be laid to rest during his inurnment ceremony on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at  10 am in Bennett Addition of Elmwood Cemetery, Wagoner, Oklahoma. Military Rites will be provided by the U.S. Army Honors Team.
