The memorial service for Charles "Chuck" Thomas Jones will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 20, 2019 in the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory, 417 East Cherokee Street, Wagoner, OK.  Chuck's fellow members of Wagoner Masonic Lodge #98 will perform the Masonic Service.

Chuck departed this life Tuesday evening, July 9, 2019 in Wagoner, OK at the age of 59 years. He was born February 16, 1960 in Abilene, TX to Dorothy (Witt) and Neil Jones. He married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Jean Ann Rich on June 2, 1978 in Aubrey, TX.

Chuck served honorably in the United State Army before he retired as Sgt. 1 ^st Class E7 in 1998. He later served as a police officer in Fletcher, OK and Chief of police of Sterling, OK. He was a deputy for the Comanche County Sheriff where he worked undercover narcotics and became the 911 emergency management director.

In January 2006 Chuck and his family moved to Wagoner, OK to make their home. He was a bail bondsman, opening Cowboy Bonding in Muskogee in 2012. He was a member of the Oklahoma Bail Bond Association.

Chuck was happiest when he was in the woods with Jean and his dog, Sadie. There he found peace.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Jean Ann Jones of the home; a son, Charles "Chuck" Edward Jones of Sterling, OK; daughter, Vicki Marie Jones of Wagoner; grandchildren, Tiera, Wyatt, and Chloe Shanks of Wagoner; two brothers, Sam Jones and wife, Maria of Aubrey, TX and Jim Jones and wife, Ann of Jacksonville, AL; a sister, Suzanne Lantrip of Aubrey, TX; many nieces, nephews and friends and his four legged fur baby, Sadie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, and his special dog, Bodie.
