Charlie Lee Bethel was born April 27, 1979 in Denton, Texas. He attended school in Shidler, OK, later obtaining his GED. Charlie worked in various areas, including construction and in oil fields. At the time of his death he was employed at a ranch in Shidler, OK, where he made his home.

In his spare time Charlie enjoyed fishing and four wheeling and liked working on vehicles.

Charlie departed this life Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at the age of forty years. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents who raised him, Melvin "Meb" and Linda Bethel; his father, Charles "Chuck" Bethel and three aunts, Jeanne Bethel, Melinda Kerr and Michelle Wise.

He is survived by a son, Collin; his sister, Megan Bethel of Shidler; a brother, Zach Bethel of Ponca; stepmother, Jann Bethel and stepbrother Jeremy Buell of Pilot Point, TX; his niece, Harli Crabtree; nephew, Zander Bethel; two aunts, Cindy Falder and husband, Ken of Pawhuska and Sue Ballard of Bartlesville; an uncle, John Bethel of Burbank; numerous cousins; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
