Charoline Inez Nigh, 82, currently of Claremore, OK, departed this life on Monday, Dec. 22, 2008 in Tulsa, OK. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM Monday, Dec. 29 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner. The Reverend Jerrod Murr will officiate. Pallbearers will be Daniel Nigh, Austin Alexander, Asa Alexander, Jeremy Brixey, John Howe and Colte Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Andi Howe, Jessica Brown, Taylor Brixey, Emily Nigh, Haleigh Brown, Kobe Howe and Kayden Howe. Interment will be at 2 PM at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Charoline Nigh was born October 6, 1926 in Fort Gibson, OK to Charles Fox and Georgia Ann (Rogers) Taylor. She graduated from Okay High School in 1945. Charoline was a big football fan and liked to attend horse races. Her hobbies were crocheting and working crossword puzzles. She worked as a sales associate for Wal Mart for many years. Mrs. Nigh was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Charles Nigh, in 1990, by her parents and seven sisters and one brother. Survivors include her children, Danny Joe Nigh of Claremore, Charles Willard Nigh of Muskogee, Molly Jane Eutsler and her husband, David, of Okay, and Georgia Gay Brixey and her husband, Gerald, of Hulbert; by one sister, Susie Miller of Muskogee, OK; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephew; other relatives and friends.
