Chris Allen Hefner was born December 25, 1957 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to William Dearl Hefner and Ethel Mildred (Taff) Hefner Tipton. He graduated from Wagoner High School in 1977.

For twenty-five years Chris was employed as a receiving clerk for Georgia Pacific. He was also employed as a jailor for the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office. In his spare time Chris enjoyed his dogs, model airplanes and working on his truck.

Chris departed this life Tuesday morning, December 31, 2019 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 62 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Hefner.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Elaine Hefner of Tulsa, OK; a son, William Roy Hefner and his wife, Elizabeth, of Dallas, TX; a brother, Keith Hefner and his wife, Sue, of Wagoner, OK; two sisters, Marilyn Hefner of Tahlequah, OK and Marsha Thompson and her husband, Dan, of Oologah, OK; extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
