Christopher Anthony Taylor was born April 26, 1983 in Muskogee, OK. Chris grew up in Fort Gibson and graduated from Fort Gibson High School. He studied welding at Indian Capital VoTech. Chris was employed at Unarco for a while, later changing to the food industry as a cook and general manager at Little Caesar's and Dominoes. His family recalls how he enjoyed cooking. He loved anything to do with the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting, and enjoyed woodworking.

Chris's family are members of The Gathering Pen (Cowboy Church).  They made many wonderful memories with the church family. Everyone who knew Chris will always remember how he liked to do things his own way.

Chris departed this life to be with the Lord on Friday, March 1, 2024. His sudden passing at the age of 40 years was so unexpected, but the family is comforted by God's promise of life eternal found in John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Maddie Lucille (Taylor) Stout and his maternal grandparents who raised him.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Dawn Taylor; two sons, Xander Taylor and Hastin Taylor; brother, Brandon Caves; sister, Tiffany Powell; grandmother, Darlene Caves; brothers-in-law, Lloyd Pigg and Ernest Pigg; his church family; other extended family and friends.

A memorial service, honoring the Life of Chris will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at The Gathering Pen Cowboy Church at 10:30 am.  Officiating will be Pastor Jessi Schwab and Pastor Joe Schwab.
