Graveside funeral services for Cleo R. Quigley, 86 of Chouteau, Oklahoma will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April, 30, 2013 at the Veteran's National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma with the Reverend Doctor Scot Trower officiating. Cleo was born August 29, 1926 in Seminole, Oklahoma to his parents, Thomas Reed and Katherine Anne Quigley. He grew up and graduated high school in the Seminole area before enlisting into the U.S. Navy. Cleo served his country during World War II in the Asiatic/Pacific Theatre. After the war, Cleo worked for many years in the logging industry. Retiring in the Chouteau area allowed him the opportunity to fish whenever possible. He passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa. Cleo was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Fayrene and a daughter, Karen Marks. He is survived by his wife, Helen Christine (Shannon) Quigley of the home; his daughter Teneece Quigley of Whitefield, OK; two grandsons, Shane Wasson and wife, Jamie of Broken Arrow, OK and Brandon Wasson and wife, Letty of Tulsa; four great-grandchildren, Chandler, Joshua, Armando and Ashley Wassom; other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements and interment are directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
