Surrounded by his family, Clyde Fosburg Jr., 84 of Wagoner, passed away peacefully, at his home, early Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 15, 2010 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wagoner with Father Jeff Polasek officiating. A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday evening at Holy Cross Church. Clyde was born January 11, 1926 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to his parents, Clyde and Ada Odessa (Reed) Fosburg Sr. After growing up in Sapulpa, he served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Asiatic theatre. Clyde worked for many years as a HVAC and sheet-metal contractor on commercial buildings. In his early years, he enjoyed off-roading dune buggies and motorcycles. After retiring he moved to Wagoner. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Helen Ruth Wraney and by his son, Terry Wayne Fosburg. He is survived by his wife, Theresa of the home; his children, Gary Fosburg and his wife, Diane, of LasVegas, NV, H.E. Fosburg of Phoenix, AZ, Cherie Marie Fosburg of Pittsburg, CA, Bob Burden and his wife, Tomomi, of Colorado, David Burden and his wife, Kerry, also of Las Vegas, Stanly Fosburg and his wife, Maria, of Owasso and Barry Joel Fosburg and his wife, Stacey, of Wagoner; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
