Connie Lynn Appleton was born November 18, 1948 in Graham, Texas to E.L. and Lavern (Dobbs) York. She married Travis Winn Appleton, and they moved to Wagoner early on, continuing to make their home there and raising their son, Kirk Hayes Appleton.

Connie was always concerned to keep her house very clean. This attribute served her well when she worked at cleaning homes. She also worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office for a number of years on a part time basis before retiring.

Connie loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Most recently she was very proud of her oldest grandson, Trent who just graduated from basic U.S. Army training. Connie's son, Kirk, daughter-in-law Michelle and three grandsons, Trent, Brent and Gatlyn were the center of her life, and they will miss her dearly. Her dogs, Boomer, Chloe and Roxie were special to Connie as well.

Connie departed this life early Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at her home in Wagoner, OK at the age of 71 years. Her parents and her husband, Travis Appleton preceded her in death.
