Consuelo "Connie" Maria Garcia was born December 30, 1950 in Reynosa, Mexico to her parents, Roman Garcia Sr. and Regina (Orozco) Garcia who raised Connie and her twin, Gloria Maria and their nine siblings with the love found in close knit family like theirs. Connie was raised in Valiant, Oklahoma before her family moved to Wagoner, Oklahoma in 1967. At Wagoner High School Connie played basketball. She graduated in 1968 and later attended college.

While making her home in Chicago, Illinois Connie was employed in nursing at Loyola Medicine, a heart transplant hospital.

For the past number of years Connie has centered her life around her family. She loved to spend time with her grandsons, especially while watching sports together. She was a big sports fan.

Connie also volunteered her time for elections. She felt strongly about the importance of exercising one's right to vote.

Connie departed this life early Thursday, November 7, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Regina and Roman Garcia Sr., her twin, Gloria Maria Ortiz her husband, Miguel Angel Chacon and a brother, Lauro Jimenez.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Angelica Maria and Efrain Moreno of the home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and their children, Alex Miguel Moreno and Eric Nicholas Moreno; her son and daughter-in-law, Miguel Angel Jr. and Rachel Chacon of Oologah, Oklahoma and their children, Kenzie Chacon, Mia Chacon, Ayden Nelson and Chase Nelson; her brothers and sisters, Armando Salas of Houston, Texas, Irene Goytia of Hollywood, California, Angelica Jimeniz of Chicago, Illinois, Amalia Montanez of San Antonio, Texas, Jose Garcia, Yolanda Martinez, Roman Garcia II and Maria Elena Tucker, all of Wagoner, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

The visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm Friday evening at Mallett Funeral Home, 417 East Cherokee Street, Wagoner, Oklahoma.

The graveside funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, November 9, 2019 in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, Oklahoma, where Connie will be laid to rest beside her twin sister, Gloria. Officiating will be Mr. Cesar Moreno.
