Coraleta Rowena Chastain was born September 16, 1930 in Beggs, OK to Tolley Dave and Bessie M. (Taylor) Woodley.  Coraleta was gifted in arts and crafts and ceramics.  She taught ceramics in her own studio.  She returned to school later in life at Connors State College and earned an Associate degree in Arts.

Earlier in life she and her husband ran a café in Boynton, OK while farming and ranching, later moving to Morris, OK and Wainright, OK.  Coraleta was a department manager for T G and Y Store and was employed at Swift and Co., both in Muskogee.  Coraleta's family will cherish her memory, including the lemon cakes she always made and how she liked to collect angels.

Coraleta made her home in Wagoner, OK before moving to Oklahoma City, OK several years ago.  She departed this life early Sunday morning, March 19, 2017 at South Pointe Rehab Center in Oklahoma City, OK.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a stillborn son, Randall David Chastain; and her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Wayne "Bob" and Wilma Chastain of Odessa, Texas; a grandson, Terry Watson and a granddaughter, Tammy Anderson, and her husband, Wesley; three great-grandchildren, Travis Watson, Reece Watson and Colten Anderson; a brother-in-law, Robert Wood of Broken Arrow; other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Mausoleum at Memorial Park Cemetery in Muskogee, OK.
