Obituary

Funeral services for Dale Everett Williams, Jr., 39 of Wagoner will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner with the Reverend Bill Welch officiating. Dale Everett Williams, Jr. was born December 16, 1970 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to his parents, Dale E. Williams Sr. and Helen Ann Asher. Dale grew up in the Muskogee area, attending Hilldale High School. He worked for several years as a welder and heavy equipment operator. He was married to Norma Kimbrel , and for a few years they made their home in Knoxville, Arkansas. It was there that Dale served as a volunteer fireman for 9 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing, but his greatest pleasure came from time spent with family and friends. Dale passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the Muskogee Regional Medical Center. Dale was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer "Peanut" Asher and Dovie Keeton, Sonny Everett Williams and Cora Lee Goodnight; step-grandparents, Douglas and Patricia Watson; step-father, Ricky Watson and a son, Toby Williams. He is survived by his wife, Norma Williams of the home; two sons, Michael Williams and Cody Graham of Wagoner; a daughter, Krystal Demmitt of Alaska; his mother, Helen Watson, also of Wagoner; his father, Dale E. Williams Sr. of Woodward, OK; two grandchildren, Riley and Noah Demmitt also of Alaska; one sister, Penny Harmon of Baton Rouge, LA; aunts, Mary Lish of Wagoner and Sharon Satterfield of Poteau, OK; uncles, John Asher of Fort Gibson, OK and Robert Asher of Wagoner; nieces, Mistie and Alsatia Harmon; a nephew, Malachi Harmon, step-grandfather, Tarzon Keeton of Wagoner; close friend and cousin, Kim Fulton; other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers for Dale will be Robby Wey, Jerry Dale, James Raburn, Bob Dewinner, Randy Dewinner, Scot Anderson and David Bounds. Honorary pallbearers will be Gage Anderson and Opv "Otis" Welch. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner.
