David Lee McCage was born June 9, 1959 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to William Burrell McCage Jr. and Duez (McDonald) McCage. David made his home in Muskogee for many years until recently moving to Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, where he made his home with his sister, Billie.

In his spare time David loved playing video games. He was a great fan of OU- one could call him a fanatic!

Early in his adulthood David worked in a chicken plant in Darnell, Arkansas, later settling in to his career as an inspector for Fansteel in Muskogee.

David departed this life Sunday, November 27, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Duez McCage and a sister, Susan Jackson.

Survivors include his sisters and brother, Kay Adair (Bob), Billie Meadows, Donna Winter (Jimmy), Steven McCage (Teri) and Judy Battenfield (Eddie); his girlfriend, Natas "Simone" Darkman and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
