David Wayne Sampson was born January 31, 1965 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jerry Bruce and Mary Ethel (Campbell) Sampson. He married the former Cynthia Suzanne Mosley on September 11, 1987, and they began a happy life together that spanned nearly twenty-eight years. David was a vocational educator in the public school system before his illness. He and Cindy and their family are members of the Whispering Hills Church of Christ in Broken Arrow, OK. David passed this life early Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at his home in Wagoner, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Bruce Sampson Jr., and his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Sampson; his son, Connor Sampson; his daughter, Gracie Sampson; his parents, Jerry and Mary Sampson; a sister, Susan Thompson, and her husband, Daniel, and their children, David's nieces, Katherine Schnell and husband, Eli, Andrea Ashley and husband Vince, and Rebecca Thompson; by a sister-in-law, Nancy Sampson, and her sons, David's nephews, Joseph Sampson and Josh Sampson; his parents-in-law, Robby and Margaret Mosley; brother-in-law, Scott Mosley, and his children, David's nephew, Dallas Mosley and David's niece, Amber Mosley; numerous aunts and uncles; other relatives; and friends. Family and friends will gather for a Visitation and Viewing from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Mallett Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2015 at the Whispering Hills Church of Christ, 21349 East 111th Street South, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74014. Officiates will be Mr. Dale Graham and Mr. Mike Snider. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Daniel Hodges, Charles Bower, Greg Snider, Kelly Coday, Wade Freson, and Justin Coday.
