David Wayne Skalenda was born in Duncan, OK on Feb. 14, 1957 to Virginia and A.C. He passed this life on Aug. 8, 2015 at his home in Wagoner, OK. He is survived by his wife, Christie and stepson Oscar Perez; two children, Heather Skalenda-Hart and husband, Dean, of Wagoner, and Dalton Skalenda, also of Wagoner; one sister, Radonda Owen of Wagoner; his mother, Virginia Berry of Wagoner; four grandchildren, Kylei, Leighton , Kymberlynn and Ian; a number of nieces, nephews, along with other family and friends. He is preceded in death by one sister, Ladonna Skalenda and his father, A.C. Skalenda. Cremation services are by Mallett Funeral Home.
