Della Fern Lane was born March 27, 1933 in Hulbert, OK to Jim D. and Etta (Moats) Rogers. She graduated from Hulbert High School and attended college, later working as a cashier at a steel company. She married Bill Lane on January 27, 1954.

Mrs. Lane enjoyed cooking and attending church. She was known to help others whenever she could. Della really liked being outdoors, particularly while fishing and camping.

Della departed this life Monday, November 28, 2016 at Tulsa, OK. She was preceded in death by a son, David Lane; her parents; a sister, Martha; and two brothers, Roy and John.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Lane of Wagoner, OK; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Pam Lane of Tulsa, OK; two granddaughters, Jaime Jay of Bixby, OK and Desiree Gregory and husband, Justin, of Tulsa, OK; five great-grandchildren, Addison, Gracie, Jacob, Briella, and Colton; two brothers, J. D. Rogers of Okay, OK and Bill Rogers of Dallas, TX; one sister, Sharon Vandiver of Oklahoma City, OK; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory. The Reverend Glen Rowan will officiate. Interment will be in Hulbert Community (I.O.O.F.) Cemetery, Hulbert, OK.
