Diana Mae (Corbell) Anglin was born February 16, 1954 in Bandana, Kentucky to Robert Levin Corbell and Katharene Miriam (Murray) Corbell. She graduated from Porter High School in 1972 and then completed her Licensed Practical Nursing training in 1974 at Bacone College in Muskogee, OK. She was proud to have paid for her nurses training herself.

Diana was a natural caregiver and enjoyed her work in nursing for many years. She worked as a private nurse, in home health while in Muskogee, Ok and in hospital settings. It was at Wagoner Community Hospital that she worked in the mental health unit. She always had an interest in psychology. It was a great help in her work that she was a great listener.

Diana had made her home in various states, including Alaska, before she returned home to Porter about six years ago to help care for her mother. It was in Alaska that Diana gave of her time to rescuing and caring for cats. She loved having cats in her life and owned five at the time of her death.

It so true that Diana loved life and enjoyed all aspects her time here. She was an amazing gardener who loved to be outdoors while barefoot. Her hobbies were collecting jewelry and antiques. Her favorite musician was Bob Seger.

Diana departed this life at the age of 69 years on Friday, October 6, 2023 at her home in Porter, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Katharene Corbell, her husband, Steven Ray Anglin Sr. and a sister, Carolyn Sue Mote.

Survivors who miss Diana's presence in their lives include her son and daughter-in-law, Steven Ray Anglin Jr. and Heidi Anglin of Porter; two grandsons, Tyan Vickers of Porter and James Anglin of Porter; four siblings, Linda Sullins and husband, Tony of Council Hill, OK, Randy Chlouber and wife, Cheryl Chlouber of Lumberton, TX, Kathy Corbell of Porter and Bobbie Thead of Porter; other extended family and friends.
