Dina Faye (Norman) Smith was born January 12, 1975 at Tulsa, Oklahoma to James Norman and Angalene G. (Payne) Rhodes. She grew up and attended school in Redding, California before relocating to Oklahoma. She departed this life on November 20, 2014 in Broken Arrow, OK at the age of 39 years, 10 months and 8 days finding peace with the Lord. Dina was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Raymond Payne and Jim Rhodes, and by two uncles, Joseph Payne and Bradford Payne. Dina was a daughter to her mother and stepfather, Angalene and Eugene Rhodes of Council Hill, OK and her father and stepmother, James and Christy Norman of Newport, Oregon; birthmother to Joseph and Bart; sister to Christi Geisler and Justin Rhodes and two half-sisters; granddaughter to Pearline Rhodes; and family and friend to others in her life. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Hulbert, OK. Brother David Yarborough will officiate. Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner is in charge of arrangements.
