Donnie Edward Peevyhouse was born on August 19, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Clayton Peevyhouse and Thelma (Snodgrass) Peevyhouse.

Donnie was an avid outdoorsman.  He found peace and joy in activities such as fishing, hunting, and tinkering outside. Whether he was casting his line into a tranquil lake, or tracking game through the rugged wilderness, Donnie felt at home in natures embrace.  When he wasn't outdoors hunting and fishing he could be found tinkering with an assortment of tools and gadgets or mowing the lawn.

Donnie departed this life on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Porta Caeli House in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Those preceding Donnie in death are his parents, Clayton Peevyhouse and Thelma Thompson; brother, Leroy Peevyhouse; infant sister; and grandson, Eric Peevyhouse.

Those left to cherish the many memories of Donnie's life include his son's, Rick Peevyhouse and his wife, Yethza of Tulsa, OK, and Clay Peevyhouse and his wife, Holly of Jenks, OK; grandchildren, Ryan Peevyhouse, Jair Peevyhouse, Eryn Peevyhouse, Payton Peevyhouse, Eden Peevyhouse, Colin Peevyhouse, and Rosalyn Peevyhouse; siblings, Gerald Peevyhouse and his family, Allie Mae Neafus and her family, and Wanda Gibson and her family; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss him immensely.

A graveside service, honoring the life of Donnie Peevyhouse will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 11:00 am at Bixby Cemetery, Bixby, OK.
