Dorothy May Beck was born July 5, 1934 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma, the oldest of six children born to Bert and Edna (Shepperd) Wright. She died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at her home in Wagoner, OK at the age of 78years, 4 months and 23 days. She was married to Jack Beck, who preceded her in death, along with her parents and an infant sibling. Dorothy had made her home in Wagoner since 1972. She graduated from Connors State College with an Associate's Degree. Before retirement she was employed at Western Hills Lodge in Sequoyah State Park as the office and reservations manager. Dorothy enjoyed gardening in her spare time. Survivors include her siblings, Marvin Wright of Muskogee, Mary Yates and husband, John, of Wagoner, Linda Cunningham and husband, Ronnie, of Okmulgee, Carol Hutson and husband, Mack, of Wagoner and Jimmy Don Wright of Webbers Falls; her children, Mark Beck of Charleston, South Carolina, Kevin Beck of Dewey, Arizona and Shelbi Beck of Wagoner; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and her friends. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the Baught Cemetery in Webbers Falls, OK.
