The Memorial service to honor the life of Dorris Lee (McWhorter) Green will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in the Chapel at First United Methodist Church, 308 East Church Street, Wagoner, Ok. The Reverend Gloria Denton will officiate.

Dorris Lee "Dee" Green was born August 30, 1924 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Perry Eli and Dora Lee (Aubrey) McWhorter. She married Clarence William Green on October 25, 1944 at the First Baptist Church in Lawton. Before retirement Dee owned and managed Dee's Antique Shop in Oklahoma City, OK. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Lawton, OK.

Dee departed this life Wednesday, July 31, 2019 in Wagoner, OK where she had more recently made her home. She was 94 years old. Preceding her in death were her husband, Clarence William Green; her parents, Dora and Perry McWhorter; a son, David J. Green and a brother, Perry McWhorter.

She is survived by a daughter, Janis Lee Beckner; a number of grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Padgett; a niece and nephews; other family and friends.
