Obituary

Mrs. Edna E. Hindman was born October 6, 1920 in Ash Grove, Missouri. She graduated from high school and later married Efton William "E.W." Hindman on July 17, 1945. They enjoyed a long and happy life together for the next 67 years until his death in 2012. They moved to Oklahoma in 1948 and made their home in the Tulsa area until his retirement in 1978 when the moved to the Topper's area of Lake Ft. Gibson in Wagoner, OK. Mrs. Hindman was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wagoner for more than thirty years. She enjoyed flowers and was an accomplished seamstress.

Mrs. Hindman departed this life on Friday evening, March 11, 2016 at the North County Health Center in Collinsville, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Jane Lowrey; her husband, E.W., and a grandson, Richard Hindman.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Dick and Zelma Hindman of Sapulpa, OK and Bill and Sharon Hindman of Eucha, OK; five grandchildren, Susan Malvaney, Janelle Colpitt, Brian Hindman, Brett Hindman, and Brad Hindman; ten great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Megan, McKenzie, Matthew, Brigitte, Jared, Brock, Brianna, Braden and Brooklyn; four great great-grandchildren, Gunner, Addie, Londen, and Owen; other relatives and friends.

The Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Wagoner. The Reverend Wade Robertson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brian Hindman, Brett Hindman, Brad Hindman and Don Colpitt.

Interment will be in Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK.



Viewing will begin at 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory.
